| The Fray – Over My Head (Cable Car) Lyrics

I'm the only one here who thinks it's about a kid with famous parents. Due to the line (She's on your mind) maybe his mother.
Basically, they're forcing him to be famous as well, after all, he's their son, and he doesn't like being forced like this. He wishes he could just turn away from them, and if they were strangers he could do this, but he can't. |

Young teenager. His/her friends are smoking, drinking, taking drugs, and this kid's all..."Is this right? Well it must be, everyone else is doing it."
"Feel like you were there yourself, work it out."
That probably means the effects the drugs/alcohol are having on his mind..
I MIGHT BE WRONG. D: I've never seen the music video so... |

I know what it's about, having read that particular part of her autobiography...but I personally attribute it to a death of a boyfriend/best friend, and that by "Be happy" she's talking to herself, trying to not blame herself after all those years when she did blame herself.. Tis all. |

| McFly – Five Colours in Her Hair Lyrics

I think "Five colours in her hair" is an analogy. I think he's singing about a girl who was totally different to everyone else, and he loved her for that.
Unfortunatly, she got a lot of pressure from those people who think you have to fit in to get anywhere (no offense to anyone) and ended up following another of those "social cliches" because she was pressured into it.
As for "She couldn't take the fame, she said I was to blame" and "I threw a house party and she came" I think that was a referance to him introducing her to his mates, and they were the ones pressuring her. |

Am I the only one that thinks this is about technological advancement?
Basically, I think they're saying that technology is going to get so advanced, we'll end up making things that will eventually get ideas of it's own, and stab us in the back.
I think what they're saying is making a super robot computer that knows everything and can do everything including make the tea might not be a good idea; it could turn out as a heartless war machine and kill everyone.
Just saying. |

| James Blunt – I Really Want You Lyrics

Okay, I am an athiest, and so is my mother. But to both of us, it's quite obvious that he's talking about God. And the fact he was in the army, and he wants God to forgive him for killing all thse people.
"No matter what i say or do, the message isn't getting through, and you're listening to the sound of my braking heart" implies that he thinks it might be too late for him...He's not sure if even God will forgive him now. |

| Vanessa Carlton – White Houses Lyrics

Well, personally, I think it was aboit a girl (Maybe Vanessa, maybe not) who attended a ballet school somewhere, and ended up befriending and losing her virginity to this boy. Just like evryone else is saying.
However, I don't think "Spinning empty bottles it's the five of us" means playing Spin The Bottle with a group of mates. I think it's a metaphor meaning evrything's going too fast, and it's making her dizzy.
Also, am I the only one who got like 4 or 5 Rayman: The Animated Series references in this? XDD |
