Does anyone else get the feeling that this song is a bit of an apology to his girl? It gives me the impression of someone who has screwed up badly and is trying to get back in her good books. Also it seems a bit strange that that he says "Wonderful Tonight", as if she hasn't been in the past, or he hasn't felt that way in the past. Dunno, to me it just seems that there is more to the song than just sycophantic love. |
