one of my favourite songs, by far. this is displaying a relationship starting again? i'm not fully sure, but i know 'the guy' is protecting his emotions, and will not let his heart break if the relationship doesn't work. he loves this girl, even though she seems unfaithful. so beautiful still :) |

I love this song. It relates to some segments of my life in a way, like just seeing two different people in the person who meant most to you, and that our eyes or (the kaleidoscope) has now focused on the reality of the sudden change, and then focuses on self-realization: just knowing that the person you cared for, appears to be something else and that they have hidden what they really were and then the reaction is unexpected, as the kaleidoscope can now see through the changed person - "the snow on my lenses distorting the image" And I was a kaleidoscope: The snow on my lenses distorting the image Of what was only one of you And I didn't know which one to address As all your lips moved This is when I forget breathe All the things I scripted, they sound unfounded And the look that you're giving me It tells me exactly what you are thinking: "This ain't working anymore" favourite verses love dcfc :) |
