| Arcade Fire – Neighborhood #2 (Laika) Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| I think that is just a concept story about a generic brother named Alex comparing him to Laika, which was a dog sent to space from Russia with no intention of getting back. | |
| Queen – Who Wants To Live Forever Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| This song to me means that someone, like Jesus, wants to live forever. There's no possible way for anyone to live forever actually, if you dumbasses didn't already know. | |
| Arcade Fire – Suburban War Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Wait, doesn't Win sing '...so I grew mine'? Or was this a past mistake in the lyrics haha. | |
| Arcade Fire – Suburban War Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Same, my friend and I always take long night drives around our town and talk about life and growing up and this song always makes driving through a lit street very nostalgic. | |
| Lemon Demon – Archaeopteryx Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| trolololololo | |
| Lemon Demon – The Machine Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| I know this may be about a simple machine being built by a man, but some musicians call record labels Machines and this song gets everything right about record labels. | |
| Lemon Demon – This Hyper World Lyrics | 14 years ago |
|
I like how Lemon Demon can write a song, somewhat deep, but still keep the light hearted lyrics. The song is most definatly about the endless cycle of life though, doing everything the same everyday. But Lemon Demon knows how to combine Geek Rock and some serious lyrics when they want to and make it awesome. |

| Simple Plan – God Must Hate Me Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| This is a song about how someones life is going grand and how hes an honor student at his school. the deep pains of remorse he has for his dead girl friend are gone now and he can move on. The line "God must hate me" implies that he was ated but one sort of diety, which is a contradtion as apparently the mainstream god is "all loving." Anyways, this song is about the pangs of hunger of what we call the world. | |
| Arcade Fire – In the Backseat Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
To me this is song is completely Regine's. Her mom died, along with 8 other close people to the band hence the album name. Regine was in the backseat learnng from her mom until she passed now shes the one at the wheel. This song is basically about growing up, watching your parents and learning until you have to take charge of your life. What a great album |

| Arcade Fire – My Body Is a Cage Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I've always thought of this song as a seqeul to (Antichrist Televison Blues) coming from the view point of the daaughter he talks about in that song. | |
| Arcade Fire – No Cars Go Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I like how much rebellion can be packed into a song with so few lines. | |
| Arcade Fire – Neon Bible Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
Here's my interpretation. I think this is an anti religion song first of all. I say this because of the line "Not much chance for survival If the Neon Bible is right" If the bible IS true, then it's right, there is not much chance of survival. The line "In the light of a golden calf, Oh god, I had to laugh!" For those of you who don't know, the golden calf was an idol given to the Israelites by Aaron, and the point that Win is saying "Oh god I had to laugh." shows that he finds it funny that some people would worship something as a golden animal. The lines "Take the poison of your age Don't lick your fingers when you turn the page It was wrong but you said it was right In the future I will read at night" I think it's safe to assume that religion is what Win calls, 'The Poison of your Age." Then the line that says "It was wrong but you said it was right. In the future I will read at night." Is my favorite line of the whole song because it says that someone is telling him something that he knows is wrong so to get away from the nagging he will "Read at night." |

| Arcade Fire – Sprawl I (Flatland) Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
This song, to me at least, is about a brother and sister, or friends, going back to their old neighborhood and house. They eventually find it and the "last defender of the sprawl" is the current owner of their old house. he asked where do you kids live? And the kids not knowing how to answer reply that they've been search every where. It's weird, I'll be moving out of my childhood home pretty soon so I can relate. If I ever come back and see another person living where I grew up I'll definatly have this song in my head. |

| Arcade Fire – Empty Room Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I love how the most depressing songs that Arcade Fire have, they have the most upbeat tempos | |
| Arcade Fire – Wasted Hours Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
This song, to me at least, speaks to everyone who's basically just laid around doing nothing for a certain amount of time. You're supposed to be living life, or accomplishing something, but you just let time pass you by. At the end of the record it's stated "If I could have it back, all the time that I wasted I'd only waste it again." It's talking about his younger years as a teenager when all you did was do nothing and veg out all day. I guess if he could do it again, if we could do it again, we would just do the same thing. |

| Arcade Fire – Empty Room Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
According to Google Translation Toute ma vie, est avec toi. - All my life is with you. Moi J'attends, toi tu pars. - I am waiting, you leave yourself. Now if you just look at this it means nothing, but it fits with the song. I know that it's the for real translation in the fact that it makes no sense as a sentance. But it gives you the "jist" of the translation |

| Arcade Fire – We Used to Wait Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
I think this song is about waiting to grow up while your young. I say this because, when we're young we can't wait to grow up. But now that you've grown up everything starts changing and you can't seem to hold onto something pure. Boom. Roasted. |

| Arctic Monkeys – Pretty Visitors Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
First I think this is the best song on Humbug, just cause I love the high energetic monkeys. But Humbug is a very album overall. Now I do believe this song to be about playing shows. Waving arms to cast shadows of a snake pit on the wall. You wave you're hands in a pit. Also who came first the chicken or dickhead in the concert who did come first the wimp or the douche? That's what I think it means. |
