I think this song is about a sexual encounter that just doesnt make sense to her. Hse knows she shouldnt go through with it, but she does nothing to prevent it. It's random, it's not love, "hand me my leather...." means she is acting a a bit racy, etc. It's more humorous, than serious. Come on.......some of us have been there!!! |

I am glad to see that everyone agreed on this song's meaning. Although songs can mean many different things to many different people, I agree that this song does mean what everyone commented on. I think tori Amos is showing us that everyday situation can tear us apart; even though they may seem like the biggest deal in the world at the time, they are only "little earthquakes." |
