Maybe it's just ironic that Scogin recently had a child, a little girl. Maybe his faith in Jesus Christ, which he openly professes on The Chariots first tour dvd is a part of it too. Theres the obvious tone of mortality, the fact that this is our only chance, so "dance every chance". It sounds like he's expressing his sadness at the pain in the world, and telling his daughter to live for all its worth. Because "some day we'll see, the distance is growing from the earth to [our] feet". |
