Rated 0 rate down rate up i really don't think this song is about drugs what so ever. for some reason the first time i ever even heard this song i felt i could really connect to it and i didn't even REALLY pay attention to the words to this song until i looked them up. to me i think he's depressed about something and he wants to forget all about it. maybe his Japanese cigarette case is either something that comforts him or maybe it's something that haunts him. there have been several times when i was depressed and i just stare at my self in a mirror and reflect on lots of things, and sometimes you really do just want to break that mirror and put an end to everything. i had never even heard of the band spoon, the first time i heard this song was about a week ago and I'm obsessed with it. it's always stuck in my head and it's the only song i ever want to listen to. i read through everyone's posts on what they thought this song really meant. i completely agree with "scts" and "YerGhost". to me it seams like they really took the time to dissect the lyrics like i did, and didn't just think it's automatically about drugs. this song just sounds too soulful and meaningful to be about something like drugs. |
