Such a painfully beautiful song. Words can't express how beautiful this song truly is. Every line sung is GOLD and every line touches the listeners emotions. He wants his love for her to be completely mutual and for things to be like they use to be. Even when she has hurt him, he still wants her. This song is allowing yourself to be completely vulnerable to someone. He knows it is coming to the end but he is incapable of letting her go. |

It was her fault and she really put him through it emotionally in every way possible towards the end of the relationship and during and after the breakup. Because of that he can't allow himself to be with her, even though he still cares for her. You can feel the pain in this entire song, especially towards the end when Wanya starts singing "when you said goodbye, I felt so all alone..." until the last note in this song. |

I think this song is about the feeling a person can get when they put themselves out there and continue to keep getting hurt. Since all of the relationships seem to end up in disappointment, she begins to ask herself if its her. I don't think she really believes its her but she says "Is it me?"more out of dispair. She knows the guys she dated were all wrong( cheaters,liars,etc) but since it never works out shes getting confused. She knows the right guy is there but she keeps wasting her time on the wrong guys(Mr. Rights probably hanging around my window pane, while I only look through watching the rain). Its that feeling knowing a good guy is out there but dating the wrong ones. Good guys are hard to find. |

This is one of their best songs. It expresses human emotion at its most rawest form. This song is about love,regret and ultimately longing for something that will never be. Its about a relationship that ended. The man in the song realizes he didn't appreciate his girl the way he should have and he didn't show her how much he really loved her while they were together. Once he finally did realize it she was gone and its too late. She's moved on and things won't be the same. At times he is almost desperate in that he doesn't care if they work things out that night, he just wants to be in her presence and comfort. Whats sad about this song is that I feel the man truly knows they will never be together again but he can't let go of her . He can't imagine his life without her because its too much for him to take in. The lyrics "theres still tommorrow", "I'll try again" "maybe just maybe", helps him cope with the loss. At the end, if you really listen the singer sighs. Which captures the essence of his feelings and loneliness. This is one of their best songs ever. And we all know Boyz II Men have amazing songs. |

She showed him what love really was and how beautiful it can be. Ultimately its really about how beautiful she is because she has unconditional love in her soul(something that many people don't have) and she was about to share that with someone who needed it and appreciated it. |

To me this song goes deeper than just what is seen on the surface. This song to me is her best song in that it displays unconditional love that someone can have for another. It can be about a friend,parent,sibling,significant other. Stacie notices her friend is acting different and is withdrawing from the world. She can sense that her friend is struggling with something beyond her control. She feels "helpless" that she can't help her friend. She knows her friend has an beautiful and amazing soul. Whats sad about this song is that she knows her friend doesn't know that about herself and maybe never will. "hoping joy is what you'll find" is a lyric that always touches me. Thats the meaning of unconditional love. Its selfless and genuinely wants the other to be happy. |
