| There are definitely some serious lyric mistakes here. I swear, every single time I listen to this song (and trust me, I listen to it A LOT because it’s one of the best songs on the album, in my opinion), I feel like I’m tripping so bad on LSD or something. Either that, or like I’m in some really twisted version of “Alice in Wonderland”, perhaps like the most recent version. The chorus is, without a doubt, my favorite part of the song! | |

| Probably five months ago, my boyfriend left for boot camp, and he'd be gone for three months. We'd never been apart from each for more than a week. I'd already been dealing with a lot of other crap and so his leaving just tipped the scales. No surprise, I got so depressed that I started hurting myself, and it got so bad that I actually considered killing myself. Obviously, I'm still here today (clearly I smartened up), but I just wish I'd known about this song back then. It totally describes how I was feeling and it might have helped me cope a bit better. I watched the music video last week and I thought it was really interesting that the person who was about to jump was Bill. I don't know if anybody else noticed that and just never mentioned it, but I feel kinda smart right now. ;-) | |

| Several years ago, I saw Mindy’s rendition of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” on CMT, and I was immediately hooked. This girl has the voice of an angel. And then a few months ago, I found this song on iTunes and I bought it, and then I proceeded to listen to it and cry for three hours straight, and even when I tried to stop, I failed miserably. Yes, I’m a fairly emotional girl (family calls me a “drama queen”) but this song just brought me to my knees. I haven’t faced loss in the literal sense, but figuratively, it’s a different story. This song is definitely about loss, be it a parent, a friend, or a crucial part of life. I can guarantee that even if the toughest person were to listen to this, they would definitely cry. | |

| I LOVE THIS SONG!!! And I can’t wait for his album to FINALLY come out! Actually, Alucard, I don’t think this song is necessarily just about gay sex. Personally, I think the lyrics describe a red-hot passionate relationship overall and not being able to get enough of whoever you’re with in the relationship. Adam sings this song so well, and his performance is so believable. And maybe I’m just biased, but this is one of the best songs I’ve heard in a long time. Can’t wait to see him perform at the American Music Awards!! | |
