| I adore Patty Griffin, and this song -- whenever it comes on, I always think of the movie Moonlight Mile, with Susan Sarandon and Jake Gyllenhaal -- in the movie, Jake's fiancee is killed by a stray bullet in a diner shoot-out. There's more to the story then just that, but it just makes me think of the movie, dealing with the bullet, and the wedding date. It's a very beautiful, sad, moving song. | |
