I don't take it as being bitterly sarcastic, but extremely creepy (I'm sure many women can attest to this). It seems as though "he" has briefly met this woman whom he's now consumed by just the thoughts of her, he thinks he's in love. We all know someone like that; men, you can relate to this and you know you're guilty of it. And I don't think "she" takes it too well |
