i was thinking maybe with the "you were there to expose him" could also be to chad about jesse. i heard a rumor (so obviously this could be all wrong) that jesse had cheated on her or something, because he thought she was cheating on him. so he did it out of revenge and this was when she was on tour with NFG, and so her relationship with chad could've been chad presenting himself to comfort her or whatever when her relationship with jesse ended. it makes sense, if that's the case. and if not, then... i dunno. but it's a damn good song. |

this song is not about sherri dupree: 1. she does not have green eyes. (she has blue eyes). 2. she did not leave chad gilbert; chad left her. 3. this song was written before before max and sherri even started dating; they began dating circa 2008, they communicated via phone/internet for six months (after he asked her to sing on two tongues) and they did not actually meet in person until around may of 2008. |
