| Yeah you got a couple lyrics wrong but most of it is right. What I think this song is about is God. "Why I think its hard to belong in the case of a selfish Believer" I'm taking it as he's talking about how hard it is to committ to certain things when you believe in God because you want to follow God, and the flesh (girls,songs) isn't right so its hard to belong to that. You want to do what is best for you. Then the last verses "and when the path I have made from grass to grave, I will love you still. ANd when the sand turns to glass and all thats left is the past I will love you still." There is no way this is about a girl. No way. This is a prasie and thanks to the Lord not a promise to a girl. Definitely a worship to God. I see a lot of this in this album, very interesting. Its not the whole album but you can see a lot of growth in Chris's life throughout this album's lyrics.
