You are BEYOND stupid and you have no idea what you are talking about at ALL. Bad Religion has COUNTLESS songs about freedom on every album they released. Uhhh, let's see, I'll name these songs below just off the TOP OF MY HEAD, with lyrics OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD. So they may not be accurate, but my god, Bad Religion has so many songs that are "anti-goverment, about freedom, etc" that you must be CRAZY, stupid, or just a TROLL to claim otherwise. Again, these are just songs off the top of my head!!! If I actually listed all the Bad Religion songs about freedom or the Government it would take forever to do. --Song "The Empire Strikes First" -- Calling out the USA for invading out countries, saying we STRIKE first. This song totally called out the war in Iraq, calling the USA the bad guys. They even sing it slowly for stupid people like you, saying "We strike FIRST, don't want to be E.M.P.I.R.E" ---Song: " Inner Logic" -- VERY anti-Govt. Quote from song: "Simulating TYRANNY under Red alert, protecting the rich". --Song: "Boot Stamping On A Human Face Forever" The title of the song is from 1984. Ever heard of 1984? Probably not. The entire song is literally about the movie/book 1984. --Song: "Part 2: The numbers game." This song VERY anti-govt. Quote from song: "They call it liberation, BIG BROTHER schemes to RULE THE NATION with their electric eye in the sky ." This songs is anti big brother and Government. --Song: "Against The Grain". Quote from song "You are ignored and defeated by the GOVERNMENT, taking away from the individual. Against the grain, that's where I'll stay, swimming upstream AGAINST the grain" -- Song: Submission complete (VERY VERY anti-Govt song, basically like 1984). Telling you to question your college, saying the puppet masters FEAR people who think, etc etc. Quote from song "The puppet masters fear originality They tighten up the tethers and they shackle your feet Song: "Unacceptable" -- Talking about fluoride in the water!! Quotes from song: "One part per million, cancer-causing chemicals, ozone-depleting arsenals...This mammoth pogrom set upon us is courtesy of the USA" --Song: "Television" (telling you to THINK for yourself, turn off the TV) --Song: "Individual " -- Just look at the song title -- Song: "You are the Government" -- Uh, this song speaks for itself. --Song "Tiny Voices" Is an anti-war song. Quote from song "Comes a haunting swelling mass of voices, its screams of forgotten victims and the cries of innocence" --Song: "Walk away" -- the opening line says TURN OFF your TV. --Song "Sowing the Seeds of Utopia". Quotes from song: "We all know politicans only go half way there, just HALF way there, but no one seems to care, yeah no one seems to even care. Now what have you done to foster the truth, besides just HIDE THE LIES? " --Song: "The State of the End of the Millennium Address" -- entire song is talking about the Government. --Song "Strange Denial". Quote from song "Substance was restrained and the spirit was broken, dirt for the masses and inequality. BLACK COATS by our side advocating dogma without constitution" Song: "You've Got A Chance" -- Song about individualism and you can change and take on the world. Quote "You got a chance to confort the world today, depiste circumstances you've got a chance even though it SEEMS so far away. It's such a wealth of information, WHY are you so poor?" Last line telling you to WAKE up, there is so more information so why don't you know everything that's going on. Song: "World without melody" -- Song telling you to STICK OUT of the crowd, be yourself, song about pure individualism to the EXTREME. --Song "New America" -- This one is CLEAR. Quote "We need a new America, see through the LIES THEY tell to us, we need a New America. Yeah you can live in such DENIAL and mark me as your enemy" Now this album/song come out AFTER your comment, but still, it's just like many other Bad Religion songs. From album true north: Song: "Robin hood in reverse". --Song "Robin hood in reverse". I mean seriously this song is so crystal clear. Robin hood in reverse means the rich elite are stealing from US THE PEOPLE. The opening line is "open up the door, corporations are people... Wait what did he say? WHAT THE FUCK DID HE SAY? They even bash the supreme court too in addition to corporations and the Government. This song is extremely political, but I can't say too much because you posted the comment before that album came out. STILL, there are so many songs before you posted that comment, and ENTIRE ALBUMS with their name screaming "Anti-Govt, freedom". I mean EMPIRE STRIKES FIRST, AGAINST THE GRAIN? Really? Did those really just go over your head!?! OKAY. I'M DONE, there are JUST WAY TOO MANY SONGS TO LIST that it would take me ALL NIGHT to find all the Bad Religion songs about freedom or anti-government, etc. Although all the other songs I listed are from albums that came out WAY BEFORE you posted your extremely IGNORANT comment. I didn't know people could be THAT stupid, but you proved me wrong. You are literally too stupid to insult and too stupid for me to try and get my point across. |

| Bad Religion NEVER sold out, liar. They became SLIGHTLY popular for a very SHORT period of time. That DOES NOT MEAN THEY SOLD OUT. Bands like Offspring where 20X more popular than Bad Religion ever was, even at "the peak of Bad Religion" they where still LESS popular than when OffSpring was at their worst. Yeah. Exactly. Look at their record sales and "radio chart numbers". Only a FEW songs in Bad Religions 35 YEAR HISTORY have ever made it to the radio, and even those songs hardly made the top 100 list, and they didn't last on the radio long. So please learn what you are talking about before you make the ignorant comment lying about them"selling out". 90% of all their records where released on EPITAPH RECORDS, which is owned by BAD RELIGION THEMSELVES!!! How can you sell out, when they own themselves? Also Bad Religion signed a 2 other great punk rock bands to Epitaph records: NOFX and PENNYWISE. (they even signed OffSpring, too) | |

There are a few lines I noticed, the main one that took me months to realize: (BTW, I know A LOT of Bad Religion songs aren't about Religion. But this song has 1 line in there which I can't interpret any other way expect for Religion) "I can feel so alone with you right here and yet I turn to you for comfort in my despair" That sounds like Religion aka "God". -- If he's always there, why do you turn to the same one for "comfort"???? |

There is a clear political message right in the lyrics: Child molesters And JESUITS, Holding secret conferences. For those who don't know, a lot of people believe the JESUITS have a huge role in the "New World Order" or "Shadow Govt" and "Secret societies", etc. Very political message in that line of the song! |

This song is actually quite sad if you really listen to it... Also if you listen closely towards the end of the song (at around 2:07 on the song to be exact) you'll notice he says "holiday.......... suicide........." Also the part where he says "Nothing but hell to pay when all you want to do... not to... give up. Oh, deadbeat Holiday celebrate your own decay, there's a vacant sign that's hanging high On a noose over your home" Pretty sad song.. Still a great song, but still the lyrics are pretty depressing. |
