um... Jason Wade wrote the song. Jason is a christian. Jason wrote it about God. "you calm the storms and you give me rest you hold me in your hands you won't let me fall" is clearly about God. Pretty sure you're girlfriend can't hold you in her hands...unless she's a giant...or you got shrunk. so although you may not know how someone can have a relationship with an "Invisible Being" (i like how you capitalized that) Jason obviously does so the song is about God. Get over it. however feel free to sing this to your abnormally large girlfriend next time you see her. |

seeing as how this is a christian writer im pretty sure he knows that God is all he needs not a girl. although it can be sung for a girl/guy, jason himself probably wrote it towards God but as a good writer he knows to write it in a way to connect on several different levels with several different people. Good song in whatever context you put it in. like what blackrose said. |
