I think this song is about trying to get over someone but you can never really have them out of your life. You try to convince yourself. And they keep bringing you nostalgia which goes with "Please don't insist" |

To me the song is about a guy who is cheating on his girlfriend and he is speaking to the girl he's cheating with. "if you make it out alright if you make it up for air i promise you i wont go before the sun gets to rise ill ask this one more time will you have me in spite of her?" He's asking the girl hes cheating with if she will have him inspite that they are both hurting his girlfriend. "theres nothing left inside to hurt this pretty mind 'cause pretty eyes will see right through you she'll find out she'll break down stop this now" He's telling the girl they have to stop this because he knows that his girlfriend will be badly hurt. |

This has been my favorite song for a year now and it was the first song I ever heard by Acceptance. The song is pretty obvious, its about a person who loves someone from afar and is scared of how the person would react to it. At some point everyone has related to this song. |
