I feel that this is similar to what many have already said. Drugs, Gangs, and young people dying younger than any generation before us. The time frame of this song was during the outpouring of sadness that the youth was going through. And Layne was trying to say that we're dying young for the wrong reasons, and we arent stopping to even notice. We'd rather ''take another hit'' while watching the burial of someone close your age. |

I know this song, and 99% of Fear Factory is about the goverment. But I always viewed them as a very sci fi like band, With meanings of songs that resemble ideas from the Matrix, Terminator (Cyberdyne), Blade runner (Replica)and such
