Look- all I'm going to say is that I've interpreted this song as a love song rather than religious cause I'm not religious in anyway... I believe soneone earlier here said that "without Christ in heart, you feel like nothing is in you"... Well I'm sorry in advance cause I'm going to have to disagree- I'm not religious in anyway and frankly- I'm fine with that. I don't feel like I'm missing anything- I'm sure many Christians would agree with that assessment but since I'm not Christian (or any religion for that matter) I tend to strongly disagree. I would prefer it if people wouldn't preach etc on these boards simply cause they see it as a "christian" song... I'm not saying that everyone who's religious and has posted has done it, but those who have know who they are. As I said before- I see this as a love song... Except I compare it moreso to when I went through a messy break up- I was desperately wishing that my boyfriend actually felt like that, even though I knew he didn't so perhaps the song is about her verbalising her wishes, and her love for him hoping he'll take her back even though in her heart she knows he probably won't. |
