I have been really stoned and heard this song and it still sucked when the circus brass cuts in. It doesn't mean a fckn thing but it's cool, WTF there's 1000's of songs that don't mean shit yet their cool. Not a top 100 favorite of all time but I can sit through itonce a year I suppose.

Where do you buy your dope? Lennon got wind that a middle School teacher in Britain was having kids analyse Beatles songs, so he decided to have some fun. He and Paul wrote several songs with the intention of simply fuckin with people's heads. On this album especially, many songs have no meaning and are filled with non sequitors.
Are there any really "Deep" meaningful Beatles songs?

A blockhead is a moron. A boring , "never tips over" kinda person is one who has drunk the kool aid accepted the dull prime time life. Has his interests dictated to him/her by advertisers and pop culture icons and guru TV internet programming. That's it...perfectly programmed to not do anything but feed the monsters ie big Gov, Banks etc. Gives the 100% for twenty years and dies. Much like the Tubes' "...pretend we're in love and get married to her, have lots of children and grow fat and old, and die like a fish on the end of a pole.." Blockhead is everthing I cannot stand to be, I like to "Tip over" now and again. |
