I think it is talking about a person addicted to a drug (like heroine or meth). Can't take the kid from the fight take the fight from the kid Sit back, relax Sit back, relapse again This part is talking about how he can't get away from the drug, and it is taking the life out of him. He tries to stop but relapses. The part about waking up with bruises could just be a reference to not remembering what happened the day before. hence drugs, being around bad people. Also, he makes frequent visits to the hospital, but causes outrages and is well known. He probably just wants to die, and that is why he doesn't want to accept being there. IMO |
