I think that she died, and he never heard 'I love you' from her. It says 'Keeping an eye on the world From so many thousands of feet off the ground I'm over you now I'm at home in the clouds, towering over your head' I think she's talking from heaven or something. Then when he says " I guess I'll go home now', that he's leaving her grave. I love this song so much. It's beautiful! |

I think that Juliet is talking about one of her siblings. How she used to be jealous of them or something and wanted more attention than she got and she blamed them for taking all of the attention. That's just my interpretation of the song. This is probably one of my top three favorite songs that she's has written and that I've heard. the title is sort of self explanitory. It's about after a break-up, you still love that person so much that you can't move on from them. 'You can't go please stay, don't stay go'. You just can't help but keep wanting them back, but then you want to get over them just as bad. "You build a heart that's strong, walls to last long, it's paper mache'." You wonder why you can't move on as easily as you thought you could. "Asking why, asking why, why I can't move on." Thsi is a beautiful song, the acoustic and the electric version are both brillaint sounding. Juliet is so talented and heartfelt. |
