I love how the end of this song seems to pull all of her past songs together. Anyone know what I mean? With your face and the beautiful eyes= (Taylor's song- beautiful eyes) and the conversation with the little white lies= (This part kind of reminds me of the way i loved you and how their relationship wasn't perfect but it was always exciting) and the faded picture of a beautiful night, you carried me from your car up the stairs= (Sparks Fly) and I broke down crying, was she worth this mess= (shouldve said no) after everything and that little black dress= (Tim Mcgraw) after everything I must confess...I need you...I need you. |

| I think this is deffinatly about the breakup with Joe Jonas or right before the breakup when things were heading downhill. To me, there's clues in the song about Joe. It talks about the morning and morning lonliness a few times and I've heard in a past interview from Taylor that when she got up in the morning she'd try for their relationship being over to not be all she thought about. Also, the 'breaking all my rules to see you' seems obvious it's about him and not about wishing she could be with a superstar. Just an idea, but as the album says she'll never tell so we'll never know for sure! It's such an amazing sad with such a sad element to it. | |
