This is the best song I've ever heard of in the whole rap genre. I seriously have to listen to this song everyday at least three times. To me, only Em can get a point across in such powerful words. The beat, rap structure, and feeling of the song play in so well. Em, i give all the props to you. You the only one who knows the right words to get the whole world to stop and listen to the truth. I love listening to everybody's opinion. norsyth: what he means by plate is that his dad is in jail making liscene(?) plates. to all those who go into way deep in the song: Young Jeezy is talking bout him being a democrate. It's not necessarily about him having a lambo or money. if you notice every rapper talks about cars and money. wb43: AR is arkansa. so he's basically saying arizona and arkansa and all those other states that support obama. for all those who accuse black ppl of voting for obama just cause he's black: everywhere i go (yes i'm black) black ppl who i never met before always ask how i've been doing. i grew up learning black ppl stick up and watch out for other black ppl. Even though we also kill each other, we still got each others back. don't ask why it is just the way it is. so yes most of the black ppl would vote for him because he is black. to all those who say this isn't a big deal: it is a big deal. this is the first time a black man is president. have you ever thought of having a hispanic president instead of a black one?? there are many ppl against obama because he only won because black ppl voted for him. they have other reasons for hating him (i don't know cause honestly i don't care). i laugh at all the kids at school who are against obama and that are younger than me cause they said he would increase taxes (you may correct me cause i don't really know). they are not being affected by his decisions so to me they shouldn't be saying anything. by the time they should care they would be able to vote against obama at the next election. i love this song and i'm not a polictal person. i didn't care who won the election because my life was never effected by what a president said or did. oh which reminds me. lincoln didn't really care about the slaves during the civil war. he just wanted the union back together, he even said that. he said if freeing or enslaving them would bring the union together he would grant it. there now that is all out i just want to repeat that i love this song. i love the beat, the lyrics, adn the meaning. all those who are against this song and/or obama to learn to deal with life. besides if obama gets assassinated, everyone will know he was a good president. all the good ones were assassinated. |

Okay i've read most of the comments on this song and all i could do was smile. Some many people take offense if its antiwar/antibush. to me, honestly, it doesn't matter. the point of the song is show an opinion of an event. alot of people say we shouldn't be in iraq and others say we should. some people say we should support bush and some people say we shouldn't. Everyone is throwing a fit and arguing with each other trying to get their opinion out there. it's amazing how one song, that everybody seems to love, can turn people against each other. the lyrics in the song hits a certain spot in everyone and they just want to express themselves, but in the end they get shut down. Personally, i love this song. i love the lyrics and i love the whole meaning of it. if you have a problem with the meaning, take two deep breaths and listen to something else. |
