Ok, so APPARENTLY, it's about his wife. It's about someone he loves. And that's why I just absolutely the love the first line: "Little supernovas in my head" It's refering to chemical activity in the brain that causes a feeling of love! Think about pictures you've seen of brain cells and nerve cells and stuff. They look just like little supernovas!!! I'm sorry, but I just love that analogy!!! |

I've always heard, "Holywood vampires PUSHING their luck" but oh well. Anyone know what "Holywood Vampire" refers to hear though? And I can tell you with certainty it's not "sittin' on the foward Five" it's "sittin' on the Four-O-Five" like as in a highway. Just like all the other highways in the song. Come on people. |

Haha, sorry, heres what I meant to say: I find it eerie the way Linkin Park matches up King's own lines with thier lyrics. Look: "...The sins of our hand, the sins of our tongue The sins of our fallen, the sins of our young" "...Cannot be reconciled with wisdom justice and love." This may just be a coincidence, but as far as an interpretation of King's words goes: He's saying the way we wage wars, and the very act of war, is an un-human sin. And no matter what it cannot be forgiven simply becasue it brings about "wisdom, justice, and love." These things are no excuse to kill people and the end does not justify the means. |

| After about ten comments about how its about war but no one hitting on WWI, I was releived when "slipper" posted, everything about it, bullets tear around me, limbs are flying, men crying, wounds are hurting, death is creeping for me (well just about the whole freaking song) obviously refers to war, over the top (my freind used to think they said "honor the son"!
