This song is not about relationships with an opposite gender. This is actually about a drug addiction. The whole switch a roo, to him being broken hearted to him being okay is all about him going from addiction to being a okay after getting over the addiction. He refers the drug as a she. As the end says. "and when she leaves you for dead, You'll be the last to know" It's the drug taking advantage of the next person's addiction. Taking him/her all the way to death, and him not being able to know about "she" left him for dead. As the drug killed him/her. |
