I don't necessarily think that Chino's lyrics are meant to be taken literally. He says that he likes to write in a more metaphorical style rather than to just sit down and write out how he feels like most artists. However, I highly doubt that it's about an abusive relationship, but instead about the negative aspects of a relationship. |

Chino states in an interview that this song is inspired by the things that he doesn't like about his wife. He later played it for her in the car and she was completely speechless. I thought the story was pretty funny, actually. |
