Obviously, you're completely wrong. The above lyrics are correct for the first line of the chorus. It is, "Weekends make up for the lost times that we both apologize for". Why would Christopher said that "We can't" when it's about seeing the girl. And the bridge sings, "Mondays.... Tuesdays.... Wednesdays.... Thursdays.... Fridays....", concluding to the fact that he dreads those weekdays but when the weekend comes, he is saying that weekends are the times when he can spend time with "her". |
