yea peoples this is an awesome song why arent there more comments. anyways i think this song is about drugs. aint enough i got to have it. Riding a hurricane, tied to a ball and chain Too much of a good good thing, it kind of stops you in your tracks How did you ever get this far, now honey don't look back And you best beleiving that all that's good is inside of you hurricanes are intense natural, free , wild and yet hes tied down to a ball and chain. so hurricanes maybe represent life or being high. and the ball and chain is an addiction he cant break from. getting far in life or getting head over heels in love with a substance. good things ,like drugs. can deter you from completing your set goals. or maybe he talking about nodding out out some smack. all thats good is inside of you. so you already born with such goodness but it aint enough. need more goodness. or he talkin about drugs are ingested and there inside of you. Ride on a carpet ride, high on the tears you cried One's just too many but a thousands not enough And you can't make up your mind playing blind mans bluff And you best beleiving that all that's good is inside of you Yeah, inside of you carpet ride. carpets just sit there. hes talking about sitting on a carpet trippin balls. tears dont always have to be sad. idk high on emotion. But you cant make up your mind and you searching for something. IS that other thing gonna be answer or just complicate things more. Confusion, binge drinkin, or shootin. And its easier now. no hesitaion just more and more. you can never reach the sky but you can try. whats up in the sky? Nothing real or concrete nothing that you can have or keep. Emotions? Highs are fleeting and elusive. HIghs plateau but, addicts insist on trying to reach and surpass highest highs(sky). Is the sky the limit? when you die you are not forsake becuase you all already are. drugs are not with you all the time. also drugs can put you in a place where people and family lsoe hope with you and will abandon you as well. so death actually comes as relief. at this point it is enough. but if we have to go sometime or another "best be taking tries of all the things your not taking" live your life experiment get high. id love to hear some feedback i will agree that this song deals with greed. i think i tried to identify what the greed in this song is about. |
