Lily Allen stated when she publicly performed this song for the first time that it was about the BNP. She later indicated that it was about George W. Bush, then broadened it pretty widely allowing that it could be applicable to any closed-minded, bigotted conservatives, in any country. I have to admit, I am a little amused that a lot of people seemed so eager to claim their country was the root of the screaming verbal effigy. Unfortunately, I think it can equally apply to many different individuals in many countries all over the world. Share the hate! So many deserve it! |

Actually, as much of a paradox as it may cause in the Enlgish language, tolerance is all about being intolerant of intolerance. (Hence all those fancy Amendments during the Civil Rights Movement, for example.) |
