Morrissey – I Will See You In Far-Off Places Lyrics 16 years ago
I like all the answers here so far. I think it's all part of it. But the phrase I will see you in far off places is like saying. Well whatever might happen will happen whether I believe it or not. Every idea seems to far off for anyone.

Tegan and Sara – Red Belt Lyrics 16 years ago
You have to see the movie. It's been my favorite movie since it came out (cause I'm a brazilian jiu jitsu guy). The idea of him kneeling in the movie is to realease the stress of the outside world and to just pay attention (we do it before class all the time).

If you see the scenes with him and the lady you will see what Sara is saying.

NO I don't think Sara is a martial artist and stuff. I think she just loves the theory of it. She wants to help people with this song or someone by getting them into a lovely realm of actual concentration and not always going back to the past. Taking care of whats really needed.

Tegan and Sara – Red Belt Lyrics 16 years ago
I highly believe it's very influenced by the movie. It's comes from the relationship of the instructor and this one laywer lady who comes into his do jan scared of anything due to the fact of her rape. The guy in the beginning has her kneel in front of her to due the hardest part of Martial arts...to put everything in life out and to focus on what to do in class.

I don't think Sara is becoming a martial artist which everyone could be (martial arts is not about fighting it's mentality). The idea that Sara says she has a redbelt around my mind is awesome.

The fact she mentions that you have somewhere to go is a mentality of artist. They want to make people feel secure but most people go back into their life (past) and stuff.

Well you should see the movie you will kind of see the connection.

But all and all I don't think Sara is going to be a BJJ practitioner but I would love to see her at my place practicing it with me...Darn). I think she finds the way the instructor in the movie deals with things as awesome and sees herself in him.
