i completely agree with xunbreakablex, this song means alot to me in that sense, like some lyrics mean something to me even though i've probably interpreted them wrong lol (: "this paper trail leads right back to you, you say you need me to step outside" -he keeps going back to her, wanting more, but she cant give him what he wants "you passed me up so as not to break a promise" -she was in a relationship but said she wanted him, then realized she had to focus on her boyfriend. "you said you knew that this would happen" -quite obvious, but just gives the impression that she knew it would end like this but she couldnt help herself "i hate when conversation slips out of our grasp" -they both like eachother so much but they cant be together and end up arguing over it. "as a matter of fact, it wasnt built to last." -they were kinda kidding thereselves by thinking it would last. lawls. |
