I think this song is about how everything is always changing, there are few, if any constants in life. The second verse "Well it's there under your breath, behind your eyes / And you don't have to say nothing cause I realize / That everything somehow in someway eventually dies / It's life in disguise" seems like its about a relationship in which one person has lost feelings and interest while the other is still in love, and without even having to say it out loud, it is recognized and accepted. I find this very sad. I think the main messages are that you have to accept change and accept failure and like 'music*ismyboyfriend' mentioned, you have to live life and try to find good amongst all the sadness. |
