I heard of someone thing song was about amphetamines. The feelings and thoughts you get when under the influence, i think the character is singing about the way things in his life bring him down talking about people staring at his 'scars' and that the drug is replacing this with confidence which keeps these dark feelings at bay. I also think that the people around him don't know he's high on amphetamines, so he just appears confident and oblivious to their opinions. The fact that he's high is his own 'little secret' |

Just makes me think of people that are on drugs and without homes in London, like in the film 'Nil by Mouth' where bill gets kicked out and has nowhere to go. Misery. |

It's creates some story in my head of a street gang where the leader or whatever has been stabbed or something and someone else is taking over for them hence 'I will do my scientific best, to command your fleet'
Fleet being the group of scumbags. It's make me think it because CC's influnces are knives and crime and murder, so it says on their myspace, they come from some harsh area(s) in Toronto, Canada where all that stuff goes on. |
