This is simply a beautiful song. This song is obviously about his dad, but i believe there is a stronger meaning to it. The singer feels so lonely because he misses his dad, its almost like he feels he is already dead and has "Fallen" and now he lays in the dew under the ground, lonely, waiting for the angels come to bring him back to his father, but they just won't come fast enough...The lyrics are perfect and they bring such a great, strong feeling to your heart whenever you hear it. This guy has such a good voice too. |

Yes this song is about a loved one of Howard Jones everyone but it is about his mother. I guess he had a fight with her and then she died and he never got to say sorry.
