As a 24 year old, the first lines really resonate with me on a deep level I haven't heard from lyrics in several years at least. So much focus on personal accomplishments, careers, dumping people because they are holding you back and don't fit our unrealistic expectations. So much power in this song. Gorgeous. |

Great song. Not quite sure what it's about. Possibly Heroin? Or about someone else who's addicted to a drug or is living a deceiving life in some way...either a friend/ ex-lover/ the guitarist that quit the band. Or...most probably...a slightly abusive lover that doesn't really care about him but is just a good looking man so he can get away with stuff. |

| My first thought was about drug use, being imprisoned by addiction. After reading the lyrics I think it could also just be about society in general, or being imprisoned by her fame. Whatever it means, great song. | |
