This song is amazing. It's Christ in first person. I've never heard a song about the perspective of Christ while looking down on the world from the cross. The first verse is how he's feeling mentally and the second verse is how he's feeling physically. Foreman is a master at capturing the views most people don't see or think about. |

I think this song is a song about regret, and how he's looking for a new start. He admits that he's done things wrong, and he's found himself desensitized by things (entertainment choices, realtionships, or bad decisions in general). He's simply looking for a new start; a renewing. He's asking God to redeem him. He's looking for justification. Another brilliant song my Mr. Foreman. |
