Couldn't this song be about the book/story of Frankenstein? The book is amazing and is more about how rejected and upset the "monster" is that he is an outcast than about the horry movie it turned into. All Frankenstein wanted to do was fit in with society.....he was created but never civilized. |

This song to me is about growing up. As a kid life is simple yet fun. There is nothing to worry about and most people are carefree. At the same time the song references parents who take on a whole new responsibility once they have children. Half of the song is written from the perspective of someone who is young and begins to see that the world is not this wonderfule place. The other half of the song is about older people who miss their independence? I dunno. VH Rocks!!! |

This song reminds me of a teenager who rebels. Maybe a loner who doesn't fit into the academic mode. As a teacher I see plenty of students like this who can excel in many area's outside of school but not academically. "My teachers all gave up on me.
No matter what they say, I disagree."

To me this song is about a drug dealer. The morning starts off gloomy as so many people wake up unhappy with life. Low and behold the drug dealer/wizard begins to sell his product (Spreading his magic). The "Demons" that are mentioned in this song represent the "Drug Demons" that addicts face knowing they are hooked on somthing that will lead to their demise. Hence although they attempt to stay away from drugs, in the end they give in to their addiction. Thus "Tears turn into joy" and the "Sun is shinning". The last part of the song represents people after they have consumed their drug of choice and how wonderful it makes them feel. |

Not a bad song.....I think it is a good prediciton of what people thought the future might be. "Having an affair with a random computer" could mean a lot these days. Anyways....the basic idea is no matter what generation we come our children will think we are old school. It's an endless battle that we cannot win. |

One of my most fav songs of all time. The intro rocks. I think it is about a guy who fascinates about a girl who he cannot have. He realizes she is out of her league for now, but eventually everything returns full circle. Gotta love Halen.
