| Children 18:3 – The Cowboy Song Lyrics | 16 years ago |

this has numerous errors Well, I used to be a cowboy in the time of days gone by And to be the voice of justice in the age of the outlaws' cry. And I used to go and ride the range and bed the cattle down, Then I'd go to sleep alone on my bed-roll on the ground. Singin' I will be a cowboy again. I will ride the dusty road again- till the end. I used to hunt the buffalo and search for water holes And stand out over the herd at night and fight off any foes. Sometimes I ride to town in rain and stand inside a church And ask God to forgive and bless this cowboy and his work. Singin' I will be a cowboy again. I will ride the lonely road again- Till the end. I remember roping calves and brandin' them with iron, And coping with the wind and driving rain and prairie fire. I remember days before my work to came to an end, And someday when the world is changed I'll ride the range again. Ya someday when the world has changed I'm gonna ride the range again! I will be a cowboy again. I will ride the dusty road again. I will be a cowboy again. I will ride the lonely road again- Till the end, till the end, till the end! |
