when i mention wisdom i speak of pure knowledge and reason. considerably uncorrupted. the song is about finding wisdom. wisdom for generations has been cast out in place of what is considered "holy" or religious truth. thus inherent wisdom is considered "evil". anything referred to as "light" is a representation of what is holy and falsehood. black is used to defy this. wisdom has no ego or point of reference. it exists purely in time and space. therefore, by gaining wisdom you lose the essence of "self" and become part of "them". they who found wisdom in the past present and future. they are the black wizards. and i am them. cold, grim and epic. classic emperor |
