I think this song is about lamenting a lost childhood friend and them meeting them again trying to reform the connection you used to have, and then failing at making that connection. That is basically what happened to me and my former best friend, we met again after about 10 years of being out of touch and we found we had nothing really to say to each other, which was awkward and sad. |
