Not negatively critisizing (although i like this song), i think this song is a "sequel" to her song unfaithful because it have same writters and composers ie. Staegate and Ne-Yo. Even the musical arrangements are 80% similar. This group has contributed so much for rihanna since her 2nd album 'a girl like me'. |

This seems strange that i got an instant liking to this song (including life in techincolor and lost) instead of viva la vida and violet hill which were more commercial hits.
I have read all the comments but nobody talked about the spanish claps which are heard in this song, it was my first experience to hear spanish claps in any rock genere song. chris martin had said that they had recorede this track in church in spain where the sound echoes in a very unique way.the guitar interlude and piano ending makes me very emotional.
according to me this song is al about the ghosts(spirits) of london , which are active in the night time and escape when sun rises. although britain especially london is famous of its ghosts, no doubt this song is refered to them.
coldplay should definetly make video for this song , i imagin a sort of spanish dance in this video |
