Personally I think it's about prostitution, from the prostitues perspective; or more precisely, a prostitute being raped. "Our son was dying and we could hardly eat" - A reason to start The second verse then describes how her 'customers' treat her. Her children "Turn away" because they are ashamed of her. The third verse is similar to the second. It's late, i'm feeling cynical. Make of it what you will. |

| Most likely, yes. Knowing the meaning of Death or Glory makes it fit in well with the song, and I've noticed Lostprophets are fans of hypocrisy so it would make sense. | |

I always figured this was more about losing your virginity to the one you love than just simply being in love with them. "So come on, come on You want to" - He wants to, she wants to. "Shut your eyes And feel the chemicals collide" - Pretty selfexplanatory ;) I think it also follows on well from The First Love "I've had a couple heartbreaks But you're telling me that it's all right 'Cause all the others were mistakes Yeah, I think this time I finally got it right with you" He's glad he didn't lose his virginity to any of them as they weren't "right" for him. "When the morning is breaking And your heart is shaking I'll remember how it feels right now When we're lost in the moment The sky is explodin' Just keep on floatin'" I'd hope this is also pretty self explanatory xD That's my two cents anyway :D |
