| City and Colour – Sam Malone Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| I think it sounds more like Cause I'm Alone.. but, still just guesses. there is probably something to it, since Alexisonfire also played a lot on words, for example "Counterparts and Number Them" sounds like "Count Her Parts and Number Them"... | |

| jesus christ... how ironic... "Do you think the silence makes a good man convert?" It was through this song i learned about the case of Terry Hurst, and from there on, I have created severe doubts about the existence of any supposedly almighty, merciful God. | |

| Actually, if I have understood it right, Her legal name is Lights Valerie Anne Poxleitner... she only added one name, and didn't remove any. In a youtubeclip of her answering questions to a small crowd, she mentions having 4 names. | |

| I think this is an awesome song, and although its abstract motive, I think it's really about AIDS. | |

a very good interpretation, but I really think the part with the 60 ton angel means much more... "A 60 ton angel falls to the earth A pile of old metal, a radiant blur Scars in the country, the summer and her " I think this song might be about a small boy, witnessing a train derail of a bridge, hill or simmilar, from his cousins room while on vacation. It is told more as if it's a memory though. "When I hear the engine pass I'm kissing you wide The hissing subsides I'm in luck" I don't quite get this either, but I think it might be another memory from the train derailing, the "I'm in luck" part might refer to him not being on the train, and therefore not dying... "allways the summers, are slipping away" might be even deeper with several meanings... it can also refer to life and death, with the summers representing life, and might be a part of how this boy copes with witnessing such a horrific accident with perhaps a large loss of lifes... The lyrics in this text are very hard to interpret, and may be seen in very many ways, and only the author may tell us what is right or wrong, It might also have several meanings, both the train derailing, a love story etc.... |
