| drunktomato the song is indeed about Pat Brown aka Pat Schmaljohn....hence his brother's guest appearance. Pat was founder of Idaho's and one of hardcore punk rock's best bands ever...State of Confusion (SOC) and also co-founder of Treepeople with Doug. In SOC's first album (that I regrettably sold on ebay 3 or 4 years ago) had an insert to purchase a "Farm Days" cassette....Doug's first band. I still have "Pat's Hangup" from their 2nd album in my top 25 best songs on my ipod....SOC was a huge influence on Doug. | |
