"My key don't fit my life no more" This line is wrong. It should be "My keys don't fit my lock no more" And I don't like how people think every song is related to "drug use" I am pretty sure the songwrites got bored of writing about drug use long ago.. |

Ok here's my guess on this one: I think this whole song is divided into 3. The first 3 lines is about "life" itself. It is the life that is a one way motorway. You live life forwards and real fast I'm the road that drives away follows you back home (some things in life just get away from you, though they never leave you alone. anything you don't do, any mistake you make follows you back home, it's always on your mind) The second 3 lines is about "you" You are a bright light, burning off alone. Although you can do great, you're always alone and you can't put meaning onto your life. something like this.. The chorus is about "life & you" What happens when you start thinking it is meaningless and when you're going through hard times. The same applies for part 2: I, I'm a new day rising I'm a brand new sky to hang The stars upon tonight it is the life itself that hangs the stars upon everynight. I, I'm a little divided Should I stay or run away Leave it all behind This is you all clueless about what you should do.. This is what I personally get from this song. :) |
