This song gets to me everytime i listen to it :(. im 19 and a proud father to a 1 year old, i pride myself on being a good father, i tried so hard to keep my family together(me and my ex) for my son i didnt want him to go through what i had to go through when i was a little kid, my parents divorced when i was 8 and i thought it was the end of the world, its a really empty feeling... my son changed my life i got my shit together and now im a firefighter making good money to support him, but nothing can replace a family, i feel like a failure:( i wanted nothing more than for him to have a strong loving family. |

I grew up listening to blink 182, i got alot alot of memories listening to blink, alot alot of good times, you can relate to all of there songs, i love em, and im happy there back together, you guys need to grow up, nothing to fight over here. and this song is about a guy writing a letter before doing it, "I took my time, I hurried up, The choice was mine" part. That's a direct reference to Nirvana's Come As You Are: "Take your time. Hurry up. The choice is yours. Don't be late." so yeah. suicide sucks, dont kill yourselfs people :( it always gets better, and it always gets worse before it gets better, keep your head up. |
