To me this is about that point in your life, or relationship, when you have to make a big decision. I can really relate to this song because to me it touches personally; "And I'm terrified but I'm not leaving" - Scared, but not going anywhere, no matter what happens.. and "And then I get a scary thought That he's here means he's never lost" - It's scary when she realises he is there and he actually does love her.. |

I love this song! To me, this song is about obviously a relationship that has fallen apart but he is still in love with her. He is listening to songs that remind him of her and feeling nostalgic, "Coming through my speakers, got me trying to reach ya" He might still see her, or keep in contact, and although this is good, it still hurts him, "Ripping it up on the chords, Playing my heart" I also have been looking around at other versions of these lyrics (yes it's a hard song to understand in some bits!) and I think instead of "But I gotta feature" I think it says "My analogue feature" but I'm not sure. It's a tricky song! This is my first post, wooo! =] |
