Sometimes the thought of getting out of bed is harder than actually just getting up. Ephesians 6:13 - ... "And after you have done everything, to stand." Maybe the guy is walking around on a broken leg when really he should be standing before God, knowing that everything is in His hands. The world tells us to keep moving either by running from something or running to something. That's perhaps why this song (for most people anyway) just wouldn't work if the lyrics were: "Standing around on a broken leg." When we are prepared to stand on the promises of God, He does the walking for us. It is literally only God who knows whether these two will end up together or not. Even greater than any relationship is that fact that God is still glorified in this situation. |
