Thats the thing with Bring Me The Horizon. Most of them are non-religious. I wouldnt say Atheist. (I believe that if you classify yourself as Atheist then you are one of the flamboyant anti-God people.) But they incorporate many religious themes into their music. Chelsea Smile - "Get on your knees and pray for forgiveness." Oli makes his music multi viewed. I myself am Christian, I read most of their music from that viewpoint. But as a smart person I also realize that parts of their music are atheistic or non-religious. Crucify Me - "Nail me to the wooden cross. Nothing above, nothing below." So you can read it whichever way you want to. I read it pro-God, others can read it as anti-God. But in the end its just overall great music. |
