i have an idea. basically because i think i understand him. the song begins with him driving from his girlfriends house. he speaks of never going back because he no longer will be driving under that sign since he's not going to her house anymore. (you don't go to your ex's house after you break up.) he speaks of never being able to go back because it's over for good. the chorus is just how he feels after the break up. the 2nd verse is him not doing anything to help himself get over the break up. he thinks of calling knowing it's useless. he even wonders "can you survive without me? cause i thought id be fine" this song is awesome! i love it! reminds me of masons revenge. |

What about the fact that they were drunk! (We drank all the bottles dry) She brings up marriage while she is drunk, he bites his lip in disbelief because he says he bites himself twice, to make sure he's not dreaming. later he tries to kiss her and she rejects him. and when she says "we need to talk" classic break up. the chorus is him getting dumped. she says "I can't do this." he pleas his case. (please stay or something. to convince her to stay.) and he apologizes for just running away because he can't take it. When he says he sees her in every mirror, its like he sees her in himself. he can't look at himself without looking at her. |
